High Availability (HA) is provided by spreading backend services through multiple Availability Zones (AZ's). AZs are just like a datacentres. Having a single AZ provides a single point of failure, but you have a highly redundant infrastructure by replicating the services through multiple AZs. When one AZ goes down, traffic is diverted to the remaining AZs, giving you the impression that the world still has access to your system.

Scalability offers the ability to expand as you need it (and shrink). Usually, either vertical or horizontal scaling provides scalability. When used correctly, you can save time and money by implementing both. We will help you to decide whether your auto scaling system will be better serviced with smaller or larger computing configurations by evaluating key metrics of your system. In this case, as needed, the device will still scale horizontally, but with the correct vertical configuration, it does not need to be as often. Much the same, it was also possible to evaluate the opposite.
